Job Title: 1st shift $15/hr General Production Worker

Job Description

The candidates will be assigned to work stations where they will load small parts onto a broach, operate the machine, and then transfer the finished part to a designated bin. The cycle times for these tasks vary but typically range from 5-20 seconds. Candidates will manage small parts, and once a bin is full, they must relocate it, potentially lifting up to 25lbs. Daily production forms must be completed, and candidates will be required to meet production numbers based on specific parts during an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

+ Load small parts onto a broach and operate the machine.

+ Transfer finished parts to the designated bins.

+ Relocate full bins, lifting up to 25lbs as necessary.

+ Complete daily production forms.

+ Stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift and meet production quotas.

+ General labor experience

+ Inspection skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6+ months of tenure at each job

+ Comfortable with repetitive and fast-paced work

+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs

+ Manufacturing experience

+ Capable of standing for 8 hours

+ Comfortable with tasks that might involve dirt, such as sanding

The schedule includes a single 30-minute lunch break, with no additional smoke breaks. Employees work individually in this setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
