    Job Title: Maintenance Technician (MGE9-Tech 2 MRT)

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will lead other service technicians, design solutions for challenging problems, manage outside contractors, and be available for emergencies. You will handle multiple projects and daily activities, ensuring timelines are met according to company standards. You will also develop plans to achieve departmental and distribution goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

    + Train employees as needed and provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.

    + Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks and suggest any necessary improvements.

    + Install and repair photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.

    + Mentor technicians by providing guidance and direction to help them achieve their goals.

    + Collaborate with teams to complete additional projects as assigned.

    + Complete all safety training as assigned by the company.

    Essential Skills

    + Preventive maintenance expertise.

    + Experience with conveyor maintenance.

    + Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

    + Experience with automated conveyors systems, including mechanical and electrical repair.

    + Ability to install and repair various components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, and more.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, PLC control, electrical, and mechanical systems.

    + Management and leadership development skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable working under conveyors and climbing stairs to the roof of the building.

    + Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

    + Experience in industrial maintenance and repair.

    + Understanding of schematics and industrial systems.

    Work Environment

     

    This role covers for a leave of absence until April 26, 2026, with one opening for FHD and one for BHD. Candidates must be open to any 12-hour shift, with potential schedules being Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. Training may require travel for 2-4 weeks. Flexibility with shifting schedules is necessary as the schedule is determined by company needs. The work may involve 4 ten-hour shifts, with both AM and PM schedules possible.

    This is a Contract position based out of Union City, GA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $29.66 - $29.66/hr.
