    Welder – MIG / Pulse Hardwire | Structural Steel

    **Location:** Saint Paul, MN

    **Pay:** $24–$28/hr + Overtime + Benefits

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (OT available)

    **Type:** Contract-to-Hire

     

    Build Big. Weld Precise.: We’re hiring experienced welders to join a high-performance team working on structural steel components for concrete boom trucks. This role focuses on MIG and Pulse Hardwire (.045) welding on heavy gauge steel — with every weld X-Rayed and certified for quality. If you take pride in precision and want to work in a clean, well-equipped shop, this is the opportunity for you.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    + MIG and Pulse Hardwire welding on structural steel (3/8"–4" thick)

    + Performing ultra-sonic welds to meet certification standards

    + Handling setups, layouts, fixtures, and fit-ups independently

    + Completing certification training for boom truck components

    + Ensuring welds meet strict quality and X-Ray inspection standards

    What You Bring:

    + 3+ years of MIG welding experience on heavy gauge steel

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints (1+ year)

    + Skilled in structural fabrication and welding techniques

    + Able to lift 50 lbs and work well in a team setting

    Bonus Skills:

    + Experience with Pulse Hardwire welding

    + Familiarity with TIG welding

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
