    Description

    Participating in calibration checks may be required.

     

    Training and leading 10-15 people at a time

     

    Fabricate complex assemblies made of sheet metal and machined parts, and composite components.

     

    Aircraft sheet metal repair and structural repair, maintenance, modification and component installation.

     

    Disassemble, repair and fabrication of complex structural items and mechanical assemblies.

     

    Plan, lay-out, fabricate and install structural mechanical modifications and/or assemblies.

     

    Fabrication, maintenance, modification and repair for pressurized structure, non-pressurized structure, External structures, Primary load-path structures (heavy sheet metal and machine parts), Transparencies, Operable control mechanisms, such as links, latches, cables, quadrants, etc.,

     

    Wire harness and electrical component mechanical installation

     

    Assisting and mentoring other team members with the understanding of engineering drawings and work instructions

     

    Possess, master and maintain personal tools that are required to accurately and efficiently execute the work.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Must have HS Diploma or GED

     

    FAA or A&P Certified Airframe License is a PLUS but not required

     

    Must have 3+ years of leadership experience specifically within workflow management.

     

    5+ years of sheet metal experience

     

    Ability to lift up to 50lbs

     

    Must have their own tools

     

    Experience with C-130, or similar, airframe highly preferred

     

    ITAR facility

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $45.00/hr.
