Job Title: Inventory and Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory and Logistics Coordinator responsible for managing inventory and logistics to support manufacturing operations. This role involves receiving parts, updating inventory systems, assembling and issuing build kits, and maintaining configuration control.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain program inventory accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing, and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of program property ownership, accountability, or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, or corporate policy.
+ Support program inventory and kitting requirements necessary for program/manufacturing requirements.
+ Stock parts into controlled inventory for ease of retrieving.
+ Maintain program databases as needed to track delivery and ensure completion of assembly kits.
+ Receive and log parts from suppliers.
+ Maintain and update the inventory database.
+ Assemble and issue build kits to manufacturing.
+ Track and release replacement parts as needed.
+ Support incoming receiving and lab hardware organization.
+ Manage HAZMAT materials until use.
+ Maintain data packages and ensure revision control.
+ Oversee configuration changes and documentation accuracy.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in inventory control for the defense or aerospace industry.
+ Basic knowledge of procedures within a manufacturing and inspecting product environment.
+ Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials structures.
+ Ability to multi-task on various projects while maintaining accuracy of data.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
+ Experience with SAP Business by Design or S4/HANA.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
+ High School diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the aerospace or defense industry is preferred.
+ Must be a US Person.
+ Capable of lifting 35 lbs.
+ Able to work overtime when needed.
+ Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift position in a manufacturing environment. The role involves using advanced inventory control systems and requires attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
