Job Title: 2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing high-end, stainless steel kitchen appliances such as stoves, microwaves, and refrigerators. Our facility is known for its dedication to quality, and we seek versatile technicians who excel in both mechanical and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermoforming machines, and foam forming machines.
+ Conduct minor welding and fabrication tasks.
+ Support electrical work up to 480v, including PLC troubleshooting with a focus on Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.
+ Engage in special projects as needed.
+ Provide your own basic tools; specialized tools will be supplied.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
+ Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair.
+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Experience with electrical work, schematic and blueprint reading, and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-year technical degree.

Work Environment
Our expansive 600,000 square foot facility is one of the cleanest and best-maintained manufacturing environments in Southern WI. We are committed to keeping our facility and machinery in top condition. The 2nd shift operates Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with flexibility to work up to 60 hours depending on workload. You will be part of a growing maintenance team, aiming to expand to 9 technicians on the 2nd shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Direct Hire
Very large, clean, automated and climate controlled facility - always 72 degrees!
Will pay for schooling
Really strong benefits and insurance - also the option to joint he Union at 90 days if you want
They offer different levels of pay bumps - they will send you back to school and there are 11 courses you can take. High end of Maintenance pay is $37/hr before the premium
