What You’ll Do
As a **Construction Field / Materials Technician** , you’ll be at the heart of commercial construction projects—performing hands-on field inspections, collecting samples, and ensuring quality standards are met. You’ll start by assisting our pile team, learning the ropes, and gaining valuable experience with industry-standard equipment.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
+ Transport and set up testing equipment at job sites.
+ Collect and deliver samples and documentation.
+ Prepare clear, concise field reports summarizing your observations and results.
+ Conduct inspections including proof rolls, undercut operations, footing checks, and rebar evaluations.
+ Monitor construction procedures for compliance with specifications.
+ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
+ Perform basic calculations and data analysis to verify testing accuracy.
What You Bring
+ Hands-on experience in general labor, especially with concrete or inventory.
+ Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
+ Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends.
+ Basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail.
+ Physical ability to bend, kneel, and lift equipment as needed.

Work Environment
+ Field-based role with typical hours ranging from 50–70 per week.
+ Shifts may include early mornings (7 AM–7 PM) and nights (starting at 8 PM).
+ Flexibility is key—expect a Monday through Saturday schedule with occasional first-shift work.

This is a Contract position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
