Job Title: Pipe Welder
Job Description
Seeking a skilled pipe welder that is comfortable working in the field and within a shop setting. We are looking for someone with pipe or structural steel experience that knows MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. This role will pay $30 - $40 an hour and can start immediately.
Responsibilities
+ Lead teams of apprentices on installation jobs.
+ Weld and repair piping for various mechanical projects.
+ Read and interpret construction drawings.
+ Collaborate with general contractors and other construction professionals.
+ Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
+ Complete projects under the direction of a master plumber.
+ Pay attention to detail and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Apply knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3 to 4 years of welding
+ Experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
+ Local welders are preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
