    Job Description

    We are seeking an Inventory/Materials Specialist to join our team, working primarily in the kitting area of the warehouse. This role involves significant time spent at a computer, managing inventory through various systems, and physically verifying inventory accuracy.

    Responsibilities

    + Work extensively with computer systems including MAMM, Supermarket, and other web-based programs to track inventory.

    + Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, and order tracking systems daily.

    + Print and audit inventory reports to ensure the physical inventory aligns with system records.

    + Perform physical counts of inventory and locate missing parts to maintain accuracy.

    + Operate stand-up forklifts and electric carts to move materials within the warehouse.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inventory tracking and data entry.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, including SAP.

    + Ability to operate stand-up forklifts and other warehouse vehicles.

    + At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    + High attention to detail and strong attendance record.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Our Client systems (MAMM) and SAP is a plus.

    + Background as a 4Q Auditor or in supply chain planning is beneficial.

    + Comfortable working at heights with safety harnesses.

    Work Environment

     

    The position offers flexible shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with potential for overtime, including weekends. Expect a 50+ hour work week, with a 10-minute break every 2 hours and a 20-minute paid lunch. Training involves 4-6 weeks of initial classroom and hands-on sessions. Safety attire, including steel-toed shoes, work pants, bump cap, high visibility vest, and safety glasses, is required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Mt Zion, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
