Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Associate, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of custom windows and door walls in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will work in various areas including Shipping & Receiving, Frames, Sashes, and Doorwall/Casements, with opportunities to learn and grow through training on different sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble windows and door walls, including measuring and cutting vinyl, glass, and other materials.

+ Repetitively lift and move materials ranging from 10-50+ lbs.

+ Punch holes and strip materials as needed.

+ Utilize hand tools for various tasks.

+ Place flexy glass on frames.

+ Operate machinery, saws, or welding equipment when required.

+ Perform repetitive movements such as grasping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and bending.

+ Stock and clean workspace and general areas.

+ Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

+ Knowledge of hand tools, with training provided.

+ Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.

+ Capability to bend, twist, and squat during the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read a tape measure is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work indoors in a facility that experiences temperature fluctuations reflective of seasonal changes. The environment is similar to a garage with large doors to provide airflow when needed, and fans are placed throughout to manage temperatures. The break room is air-conditioned, and coolers of Gatorade are available during hot weather. The noise level is moderate, and the building is well-lit. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hot, noisy environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
