Job Title: Building Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Building Engineer to join our team for the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This position does not require overtime. The primary responsibility is to monitor various building automation system computers to ensure that systems are operating within specified parameters such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, and amps. If systems are not operating correctly, the Building Engineer must take a specific documented course of action to protect equipment, personnel, and research. The role also involves monitoring systems for energy-efficient operations and assisting electrical, mechanical, and control system technicians in troubleshooting equipment problems.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor building automation system computers to ensure automatic operation within specified parameters.
+ Take documented actions to protect equipment, personnel, and research when systems are not operating correctly.
+ Ensure energy-efficient operations of systems.
+ Assist electrical, mechanical, and control system technicians in troubleshooting equipment problems.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years experience working with HVAC/refrigeration mechanical systems.
+ General understanding of building automation systems with an emphasis on Siemens.
+ Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
+ EPA 608 Universal Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least one year of experience working in the BioPharma or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
+ Experience in HVAC maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
+ Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including efficient documentation of work orders.
+ Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
