Maintenance Technician -- 1st and 2nd shift -- Weekly Pay
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for emergency and unscheduled repair of production equipment, as well as performing scheduled and preventative maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing production machines using mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining plant buildings and grounds, including repairs, painting, and other ground maintenance.
Responsibilities
+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.
+ Perform scheduled maintenance of equipment as necessary.
+ Conduct thorough preventive maintenance checks on a routine schedule.
+ Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
+ Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
+ Maintain plant buildings and grounds, including plumbing, painting, mowing, and other ground maintenance.
+ Work on equipment such as wire processing equipment, crimping machines, wire stripping machines, CNC punches, CNC press brakes, powder coating booths, and paint line ovens.
Essential Skills
+ 2-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 1+ year experience with 3 phase electrical, 480V control, and PLC troubleshooting.
+ 1+ year electromechanical maintenance experience.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs.
+ Basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ year maintenance experience in a sheet metal facility or on sheet metal equipment (punches, powder coat, CNC equipment).
+ 1+ year editing PLC programs.
+ Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, wide open, and very clean, providing a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. You will be the only technician on the 3rd shift, working from 10pm to 6am. Dress code requires steel or composite toes, pants, t-shirt, and layers as needed. All tools are provided, and you will have the opportunity to attend training for Trumpf equipment. Emergency repairs may alter break and lunch times, but they will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
