Job Title: Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift
Job Description
The Materials Associate plays a vital role in supporting the production of small drones by managing the receipt, warehousing, and issuance of materials and components. This position involves processing shipping and receiving operations, preparing products for freight shipments, and assisting in accurate shipment processing. The associate works closely with inventory and purchasing groups to manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage, focusing on key performance indicators like on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, part quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
+ Process shipping and receiving operations efficiently.
+ Prepare products for freight shipments.
+ Collaborate with the Shipping & Receiving Manager for accurate shipment processing.
+ Manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage.
+ Focus on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and part quality.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in quality control and AS9100 standards.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office and warehouse operations.
+ Skills in picking, cycle counts, and parts inventory management.
+ Knowledge in logistics, NetSuite, RF scanner, and WMS.
+ Experience in material handling, packaging, labeling, and storage.
+ Ability to maintain material traceability and inventory accuracy.
+ Strong multitasking ability with little supervision and a sense of urgency.
+ Attention to detail and order accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
+ Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
+ Basic computer skills and excellent customer service.
+ Strong organization and communication skills.
+ U.S. Person status required for accessing export-controlled data.
+ Experience in military or familiarity with FAR-52.245-1 is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
