    Job Description

    As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform heavy structural repairs, maintenance, and modifications on F/A-18 aircraft, contributing to the enhancement and longevity of these advanced fighter jets.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct heavy structural repairs and maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft.

    + Perform depot level maintenance and modifications.

    + Execute sheet-metal modifications and structural repairs.

    + Address corrosion issues and implement necessary solutions.

    + Work on aircraft modifications to upgrade to 5th generation fighters.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 - 8+ years of recent experience in depot-level/heavy checks on aircraft.

    + Proficiency in equipment overhauls and modifications.

    + Experience with military jets, specifically F/A-18 or similar fighter jets.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Navy, Air Force, or Marine aircraft.

    + Familiarity with Boeing and similar aviation environments.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an open-bay, non-climate controlled environment with shifts available as follows: 1st Shift from 5:30am to 2:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, with optional overtime. Flexibility to work any shift is required. An annual expense of $100 for steel-toed shoes is provided.

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
