Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to perform service work on a range of products at customer sites. The technician will collaborate directly with end users and contractors to ensure that all on-site products are functioning optimally and tested prior to system energization. This role involves substantial travel, primarily within the southwest United States, with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
+ Execute a System Startup checklist at customer sites.
+ Program Starline CPM and third-party meters at customer locations.
+ Identify and resolve complex network issues.
+ Utilize terminal emulator programs like PuTTY for programming and network support.
+ Complete startup certification and meter commissioning reports using provided templates.
+ Maintain professional and respectful interactions with customers on-site.
+ Obtain a Level 1 Thermography Certification to IR scan energized Busway components.
+ Diagnose and repair on-site issues as required and mentor internal and third-party technicians.
+ Suggest new services based on customer and contractor interactions.
+ Identify and specify testing equipment needs for improved on-site services.
Essential Skills
+ Prior work-related travel experience is required.
+ High School Diploma.
+ Intermediate experience with MS Windows and MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Valid driver's license and the ability to rent a vehicle.
+ Ability to obtain government-mandated security clearances.
+ Ability to obtain a valid US passport.
+ Ability to obtain a company credit card.
+ Ability to travel via airplane and rental or personal vehicle.
+ Product knowledge and familiarity with all product lines.
+ Willingness to undertake overnight trips, occasionally staying in one location for up to four nights.
+ Experience using power and hand tools.
+ Basic knowledge and experience with electrical components.
+ Willingness to complete mandated training and certification programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience using power and electrical testing tools and equipment.
+ Advanced knowledge and experience with electrical components and meters.
+ Experience in data centers.

Work Environment
Work is primarily conducted at customer sites, which may include active construction areas requiring personal protective equipment. The role involves extensive travel, up to 90% of the time, and may require long working hours. Technicians should be capable of standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs daily.

This is a Permanent position based out of Canonsburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
- Company-paid training for OSHA 30, LOTO, NFPA, Scissor Lift, and Harness Safety
- Company card provided and tool reimbursements available
- 8% annual bonus based on salary

- Travel schedule: Monday through Friday, home every weekend

--- Example, the schedule is set 2-3 weeks out. If they know they are not scheduled on a Friday they will not be working, but will be paid and can take a long weekend without needing to use PTO.
