Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

+ We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Trenton

+ This role involves mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of motors, conveyors, gears, and hydraulics within the plant

Job Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, conveyors, gears, and hydraulic systems

+ Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance tasks

+ Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, and yard tractors

+ Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues

+ Read and interpret parts diagrams for equipment assembly and disassembly

+ Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LO/TO) protocols

+ Commit to customer satisfaction, first-time quality, and operational efficiency

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hydraulic systems, conveyors, and augers

+ Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues

+ Ability to work with cranes and forklifts and willingness to work at heights (30-40ft)

+ Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, including construction equipment and diesel engines

+ Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to safety standards

This is a Permanent position based out of Trenton, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
