Job Title: Maintenance Technician-pay up to $30/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading machinery and control systems. The role involves ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with safety procedures, reading and creating PLC ladder logic, and maintaining production equipment including mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade machinery and control systems.
+ Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures.
+ Read, edit, and create PLC ladder logic.
+ Maintain production equipment, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and conduct PMs on machinery.
+ Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Perform MIG and stick welding, burning, and cutting for machinery repairs.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
+ Follow and enforce safety procedures.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or 3 years of experience with technical schooling.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with a stronger focus on electrical skills.
+ Experience with 480v, AC/DC, 110v, and 220v systems.
+ Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Ownership of personal tools.
+ Basic welding skills (MIG or stick preferred).
+ PLC troubleshooting experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience repairing cranes.
+ Experience working on conveyors, stamping presses, reduction mills, slitters, and presses.
+ PLC programming skills.

Work Environment
This is a direct hire multi-craft maintenance technician position in a union shop. The role is for the 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, with additional shift differentials and bonuses. The facility is clean, well-lit, and industrial with potential noise from stamping presses. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $76960.00/yr.
