Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role offers two shift options: 1st shift from 7am-7pm and 3rd shift from 7pm-7am, both on a 4x2 rotating schedule, requiring work every other weekend. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with experience in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment.
+ Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness.
+ Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.
+ Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to properly make repairs.
+ Dismantle machines and equipment to inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance.
+ Follow all safety procedures and take a proactive role in plant safety; ensure that equipment conforms to safety regulations.
+ Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Industrial Electrical Experience (including PLC troubleshooting experience) with VFDs, drivers, and panel signal experience.
+ Manufacturing Experience.
+ Strong Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
+ Proficiency in using tools such as blueprints, calipers, hand tools, and tape measure.
+ Understanding of schematics, 480v, 3-phase systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
+ Previous Tube Manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
+ Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
+ Problem-solving skills, individual and group facilitation.
+ Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
