Job Title: Mailing Processor
Job Description
This position involves data manipulation, formatting of mailing lists, and assisting in the operation of mail equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Format and correct mailing lists.
+ Presort and prepare documentation for the Post Office.
+ Operate and assist with various equipment, including Inkjet, Inserter, Tabber, and more.
+ Import, clean, and format customer mailing lists using software such as Excel, Access, or specialized mailing software.
+ Apply postal presort logic to data to qualify for USPS discounts and ensure compliance with postal regulations.
+ Generate and verify address barcodes, tray tags, and other USPS-required documentation.
+ Perform data deduplication, address standardization, and NCOA (National Change of Address) processing.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in USPS mailing regulations.
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office, including data entry in Excel.
+ Machine operation expertise, particularly in mail sorting and mail service.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Excel, CSV, and similar formats.
+ Experience with specialized mail software.
+ Extensive knowledge of USPS guidelines and regulations.
+ Familiarity with USPS Customer Gateway and Postal One.
+ Ability to operate a computer for mailing list processing.
+ Capacity to work independently and effectively with other staff members, taking direction as necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
