Job Title: Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painters to join our team, specializing in residential and commercial painting projects. Our work includes both new construction and existing buildings, with a focus on interior walls and some exterior painting. Projects are located within a 40-mile radius of Milwaukee, and tasks include using brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply paint coatings to various facilities.

Responsibilities

+ Perform painting functions for industrial and commercial clients.

+ Specialize in both new construction and existing building projects.

+ Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply paint coatings.

+ Execute airless spraying, brush and rolling techniques, including cutting in without tape.

+ Utilize HPLV Airless Sprayers on large industrial projects.

+ Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming.

+ Ensure smooth, even finishes with keen attention to detail.

+ Comply with safety procedures and use protective gear properly.

+ Read and interpret blueprints or specifications.

+ Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

+ Work on ladders, scaffolding, or in tight spaces, requiring physical stamina and dexterity.

+ Coordinate with clients and other contractors using good communication skills.

+ Solve problems and adapt to unexpected challenges on the job.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of painting experience.

+ 1+ year of commercial painting experience.

+ Expert knowledge of painting techniques and materials.

+ Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

+ Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints or specifications.

+ Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of protective gear.

+ Effective time management skills.

+ Physical stamina and dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with multi-family buildings.

+ Experience with office environments.

+ Ability to solve problems and adapt to unexpected challenges.

+ Good communication skills for client and contractor coordination.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $26.00/hr.
