    Job Title: Packaging Line Worker

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Line Worker, where you will be involved in the assembly line packaging of bleu cheese. This role requires teamwork and adaptability, as positions are rotated every two hours. Your primary responsibilities will include placing bleu cheese into portion containers, ensuring correct weight, and then progressing to lid and label application, followed by boxing for shipment. The job is highly repetitive and performed in a cold, wet environment with temperatures ranging from 45-50 degrees.

    Responsibilities

    + Work collaboratively in a team environment on an assembly line.

    + Package bleu cheese into 2 - 5 oz containers.

    + Ensure containers meet the correct weight before proceeding.

    + Apply lids and labels accurately.

    + Box products efficiently for shipment.

    + Rotate positions every two hours to maintain workflow.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general production and assembly line work.

    + Proficiency in labeling, picking, and packaging.

    + Ability to maintain inventory accurately.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Capability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.

    + Ability to stand for long periods, with rotations in duties every two hours.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a cold, wet environment with temperatures between 45-50 degrees. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday; 2nd shift from 2pm to 12:30am, Monday to Thursday with a shift differential. Expect a repetitive role with regular position rotations, contributing to a strong team dynamic.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Faribault, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.19 - $20.19/hr.
