    Job Title: Compression Operator 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    As a Manufacturing Operator III, you will be responsible for executing daily tasks related to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. This includes setting up equipment, performing manufacturing steps according to formulas, and disassembling and cleaning equipment. You will work in compliance with a GMP environment, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records. Additionally, you will assist in training other operators and troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute daily manufacturing tasks for pharmaceutical products.

    + Set up and disassemble manufacturing equipment.

    + Perform manufacturing steps as per formula and standard operating procedures.

    + Maintain and clean equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

    + Assist in training fellow operators in equipment and process operations.

    + Troubleshoot equipment and process-related problems.

    + Process electronic batch records and transactions in SAP.

    + Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic math skills.

    + Basic computer knowledge.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharma.

    + Ability to lift/move up to 25 kg.

    + 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

    + Strong communication skills with all departments.

    + Good observation skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changes in work duties.

    + Basic literacy in English and mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to lead a team and achieve production goals.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based 100% on-site in Cincinnati, working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The role requires wearing an air-powered respirator Tyvek hood and Tyvek suit. The environment demands physical activity, including lifting, stooping, and reaching, with occasional use of a pallet jack.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
