Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking three skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a night shift position, working 4×4 shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM. Candidates must be open to working any day of the week during these hours as the days will rotate. This role requires strong expertise in electrical systems, including AC/DC and 480 V systems, as well as PLC experience.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment.

+ Diagnose and repair problems in an industrial manufacturing environment, specifically in aluminum processing.

+ Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, piping systems, fluid power systems, and perform cutting, burning, and all types of welding.

+ Troubleshoot aluminum extrusion presses and auxiliary equipment including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.

+ Read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturer specifications.

+ Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory requirements.

+ Perform maintenance safety program audits (Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, mobile equipment, etc.).

+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make necessary repairs or improvements.

+ Maintain an electronic backlog of Work Requests and Work Orders with maintenance planners.

+ Promote, support, and enforce ISO 9001 elements as they apply to the maintenance department.

Essential Skills

+ Strong experience in Electrical systems (AC/DC, 480 V).

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, with knowledge of Rockwell software being a plus.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.

+ Extensive knowledge in industrial maintenance including electrical, PLC, robotics, mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, machining, and conveyor systems.

+ Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, PLCs, wire installation/termination, combustion, power distribution, electronics process control computers, conduit threading, schematics, bending and installation, AC and DC drives, and welding.

+ 4+ years experience maintaining and repairing heavy industrial machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 elements and their applicability to the department.

+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements (preferred).

Work Environment

This role operates within a climate-controlled industrial manufacturing environment, specifically in aluminum processing, which can be hot, dusty, and loud at times. The position is for the night shift, 6 PM to 6 AM, with rotating workdays. Candidates must be comfortable working in such conditions and be open to working any day of the week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73923.00 - $80558.00/yr.
