Job Description

We are seeking a **Shipping Supervisor** to manage and oversee all shipping operations. This role ensures timely and accurate dispatch of goods, coordinates logistics with carriers and internal teams, and maintains compliance with company standards and transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of shipping personnel, monitor inventory, and enforce safety protocols to maintain an efficient and secure work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee packing, labeling, and dispatching of goods to ensure timely delivery.

+ Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments for shipment scheduling.

+ Resolve delivery issues and maintain accurate shipping documentation.

+ Supervise and train shipping personnel to improve efficiency and safety.

+ Monitor inventory and track incoming and outgoing shipments.

+ Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with transportation laws and company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Strong leadership and communication skills for team management and cross-department collaboration.

+ Quick problem-solving abilities to address shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, and customer concerns.

+ Technical proficiency with shipping software, inventory systems, and logistics platforms.

+ Degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.

+ Prior experience in shipping, warehouse management, or logistics.

Additional Qualifications

+ Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics environment.

+ Familiarity with inventory control, material handling, and forklift operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
