Job Title: Maintenance Lead
Job Description
The Maintenance Lead will delegate workload amongst other Maintenance Technicians while being hands-on and performing advanced facilities maintenance. This role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment promptly and within budget, performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on all material handling and facility equipment, completing required maintenance work orders, and maintaining repair reports on all equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose issues.
+ Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts.
+ Recommend preventative maintenance tasks to the team for review.
+ Inspect completed repairs made by vendors and other technicians.
+ Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
+ Apply mastery of skills in adapting procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment as appropriate.
+ Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.
+ Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

+ 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience
+ Experience with Class 1, 2, & 3 type lift trucks, conveyor, and other material handling equipment
+ Welding and machining experience preferred
+ Experience with CAT5e & CAT6 data wiring preferred
+ PLC programming; experience with 3 phase 480V preferred
+ Leadership experience

Work Environment
Distribution Center environment with a maintenance team size of 5. Day shift hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
