Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
The TIG Welder will utilize TIG or heliarc welding techniques on thin stainless steel to produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin stainless steel.
+ Produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
+ Read and interpret blueprints.
+ Demonstrate strong math skills to execute precise welding tasks.
+ Work on intricate welding processes, both hand and machine, to develop complex fabrications to closely prescribed standards.
+ Use a variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and operate welding equipment including machine settings for various welding processes.
+ Perform fixturing and set-up as required.
Essential Skills
+ 7+ years of welding experience.
+ Proficiency in TIG Welding, MIG Welding, and working with food-grade stainless steel.
+ Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, and All Positions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to demonstrate strong math skills.
+ Capability to read and interpret blueprints.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
