    Job Title: Digital Press Operator

    Job Description

    As a Digital Press Operator, you will operate and maintain digital presses to produce high-quality print jobs according to specifications. You will review job tickets to verify materials, ensure file accuracy, and check finishing requirements before production. Setting up the press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment is crucial, and you will monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance, and inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain digital presses according to job specifications.

    + Review job tickets for material verification and file accuracy.

    + Set up press for correct color, registration, and paper alignment.

    + Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality.

    + Troubleshoot issues during press operations.

    + Maintain accurate records of press operations.

    + Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of operating digital printing equipment.

    + Proficiency with digital presses such as HP Indigo or Xerox.

    + Knowledge of color management and RIP software.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with precision measuring tools and machine setup.

    + Printing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

    Work Environment

     

    1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday - Friday

     

    2nd Shift: 2:00pm-12:30, Monday-Thursday

    This is a Permanent position based out of Edgerton, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
