Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our fast-paced shop environment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts, interpreting blueprints and GD&T, and ensuring equipment maintenance while achieving production goals.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
+ Set up CNC machines, including mills and lathes, input instructions, and prove programs.
+ Load workpieces and verify machine settings.
+ Monitor operations, inspect parts, and troubleshoot issues.
+ Collaborate with the programming team and maintain tool integrity.
+ Ensure traceability and meet cycle time, quantity, and quality targets.
+ Perform additional tasks such as forging, EDM, and manual lathe operations as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
+ Experience with CNC machines, including lathe operations.
+ Ability to use calipers and micrometers effectively.
+ Experience with Fanuc controls and programming.
+ Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and adaptable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 2+ years of vocational training or equivalent experience.
+ Preferred experience in CNC setup/operation and in-process inspection.
+ Proficiency in math, including fractions, geometry, and trigonometry.
+ Ability to read technical documents and use ERP systems, such as Epicor.
+ Strong mechanical reasoning and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $36.00/hr.
