    Job Title:** **Test Technician

    **Location:** Andover, MA

    **Shift:** 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

    **Pay:** Up to $30/hour

    Job Description:

    Join our team as a **Test Technician** , where you’ll play a key role in testing and validating large X-ray equipment used for scanning cargo and trucks. This position involves executing test procedures, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring product quality through detailed diagnostics and documentation. You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform functional and performance testing on electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues during testing.

    + Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

    + Document test results and maintain accurate records.

    + Collaborate with technicians and engineers to improve product reliability.

    + Stand for extended periods while working on large equipment.

    Essential Skills:

    + Experience with system-level testing and diagnostics.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical domains.

    + Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.

    + Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.

    + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.

    + 3–5 years of experience in a similar testing or technical role.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + Comfortable working on large systems and standing for long periods.

    + Experience in military or industrial manufacturing environments is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
