    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance tasks for CNC equipment. This role involves maintaining accurate logs, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and execute preventive maintenance tasks for CNC equipment.

    + Maintain accurate preventive maintenance logs and service records.

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults.

    + Perform component replacements and repairs, and calibrate CNC machine components.

    + Utilize root-cause analysis to minimize repeat failures.

    + Recommend improvements to enhance machine reliability, efficiency, and safety.

    + Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety policies including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

    + Ensure equipment repairs comply with OSHA, NFPA, and local regulatory standards.

    + Provide technical guidance to operators and production staff.

    + Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new CNC machinery.

    + Work overtime as necessary and travel to Michigan for training for 6-8 weeks.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + 2+ years of maintenance experience on CNC machines.

    + Experience with industrial electrical troubleshooting and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Understanding of G-Code at the machines.

    + Prior experience as a machinist.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is for the 1st shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Training will be conducted in Michigan with hotels paid and a per diem for meals. Training occurs Monday to Friday, with weekends at home. Upon completion, the role will be full-time on-site in Hudson, OH, with no travel required.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00/hr.
