Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for assisting with operations, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and general maintenance tasks. Your role will involve handling repairs on various systems and equipment across commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with the operation of troubleshooting, diagnostics, and housekeeping.
+ Conduct repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and shop.
+ Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
+ Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, and wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
+ Evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and implement savings opportunities.
+ Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection system equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
+ Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial systems.
+ Proficiency in conveyor maintenance, schematic reading, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
+ Must have one of the following: Journeyman Electrician card, Trade school or Associate's degree in electrical or electromechanical.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, relays, switches, gearboxes, conveyers, boiler maintenance, mechanical maintenance, motors, photoeyes, and electrical systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
