Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. Your expertise will ensure the equipment runs smoothly, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance and repair on industrial diesel equipment

+ Troubleshoot and address mechanical issues effectively to prevent downtime.

+ Work with diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.

+ Be comfortable starting in the shop and transitioning to a Road Technician role after six months.

+ Be on rotational call to service equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with generators, diesel engines, and air compressors.

+ Strong knowledge of diesel mechanics, including engines and transmissions.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools for mechanical repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in fleet and diesel maintenance.

+ Own personal tools for the job.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. After transitioning to a permanent role, you will be on rotational call to handle urgent repairs. The role initially starts in the shop with the opportunity to become a Road Technician.

This is a Contract position based out of Coral Springs, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
