Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and mounting grills with precision, incorporating components such as wipers, warning lights, backlighting, and headlights. You will also review blueprints to construct level bumpers, and be accountable for charging, testing, and evacuating air conditioning systems according to build specifications. Your expertise will extend to installing and wiring electrical components including lights, speakers, and sirens, as well as performing thorough running tests to ensure all systems are operating correctly. Additional tasks may be assigned by management to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

+ Build and mount grills with precision, incorporating wipers, warning lights, backlighting, and headlights.

+ Review blueprints to construct level bumpers.

+ Charge, test, and evacuate air conditioning systems according to build specifications.

+ Install and wire electrical components such as lights, speakers, and sirens.

+ Perform thorough running tests to ensure all systems are operating correctly.

+ Support organizational goals by completing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical assembly expertise.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.

+ Skilled in using hand and power tools.

+ Competence in electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read tape measures accurately.

+ Experience working on an assembly line.

Work Environment

You will work in a temperature-controlled environment on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with hours varying between 5:00am - 3:30pm or 6:00am - 4:30pm, depending on your supervisor. Expect to work 45-50 hours per week, including mandatory overtime on Fridays. The spacious work areas and team setting enhance collaboration and efficiency, with all necessary tools provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
