    Job Title: Installer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Installer to perform air conditioning unit installations in accordance with company standards and schedules. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete installation orders based on customer specifications, including evaporators, condensers, compressors, mount kits, and associated duct and connecting systems

    + Gather necessary parts, tools, and materials for assigned tasks

    + Ensure installations meet quality, cost, and scheduling standards

    + Inspect completed work to verify craftsmanship and performance functionality

    + Charge air conditioning systems as needed

    + Perform special projects such as replacements, retrofits, remodels, and after-sales service

    + Conduct preventive maintenance following manufacturer instructions

    + Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area

    + Escalate challenges that impact work completion or customer satisfaction

    + Train team members to support cross-training and knowledge sharing

    + Adhere to company conduct policies

    + Use equipment and supplies efficiently to minimize waste and rework

    + Complete required documentation and reports

    + Maintain professional relationships with team members and customers

    + Support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of experience on an assembly line or as an assembler

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Proficient with hand, power, and pneumatic tools

    + Experience with automotive repair and assembly instructions

    + Systematic approach to job tasks

    + At least 1 year of experience in light automotive repairs

    + Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and stand for extended periods (10+ hours)

    + Effective communication skills

    + Ability to work independently

    + Basic computer literacy (Microsoft and Google applications)

    + Strong problem-solving abilities

    + Willingness to travel, work overtime, and weekends

    Additional Skills and Qualifications

    + Automotive experience preferred

    + Air conditioning installation experience is a plus

    Work Environment

     

    Work is performed in a non-climate controlled garage. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Occasional Friday work may be required. The shift includes a 30-minute lunch break.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
