Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Inspector to support a Zero-Defect culture by inspecting incoming materials, first article production pieces, in-process production pieces, and finished products. You will play a crucial role in recording quality results and enforcing our Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
+ Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications through visual and measurement inspections.
+ Reject and return unacceptable materials.
+ Approve production quality output by confirming first article and in-process specifications.
+ Conduct visual and measurement inspections and communicate required adjustments to the production supervisor.
+ Approve finished products by confirming specifications and providing feedback to production.
+ Create re-work jobs as needed.
+ Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, including DMR and RMA transactions.
+ Summarize re-work and waste, input data into the quality database.
+ Maintain measurement equipment by performing calibration procedures and maintaining records.
+ Assist the internal audit team by serving as an internal auditor as needed.
+ Execute the Quality function of the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
+ Assist management in developing and implementing employee training.
+ Complete safety, product, company, system, compliance, and internal surveillance audits, and communicate results and improvement recommendations to management.
Essential Skills
+ Quality assurance experience.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Two years of full-time experience in a technical or manufacturing role.
+ Experience working with calipers, rules, micrometers, and radius gauges.
+ ERP Experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Aerospace experience highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work in two state-of-the-art machine shops, one with four machines and the other offering advanced overnight technical runs. Enjoy a flexible work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of four 9-hour days and a half-day on Friday once settled into the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Little Rock, AR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $28.85/hr.
