Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems. This includes checking amps, voltages, and run temperature tests, as well as identifying and resolving air fuel issues. The technician will clean and service existing units such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and condensers. The role involves direct interaction with commercial clients to diagnose issues and execute a standard preventative maintenance checklist as provided by the service field.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.

+ Perform checks on amps, voltages, and run temperature tests.

+ Identify and resolve air fuel problems.

+ Clean and service existing units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and condensers.

+ Work directly with commercial clients to diagnose and address equipment issues.

+ Complete standard preventative maintenance checklists as provided.

+ Be on call once every six weeks for emergency service.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience in commercial and industrial preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.

+ OSHA 10 Certification.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems, including amps and voltage regulation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with compressors, pumps, and other mechanical components.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires on-call duties every six weeks, from Monday 4:30 PM to the following Monday 7:30 AM, with compensation for on-call hours. Work takes place in various commercial and industrial buildings, providing a dynamic and engaging environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
