Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

As the main inventory specialist, you will manage and oversee the inventory system within the warehouse, ensuring all materials and their locations are accurately accounted for. You will be responsible for replenishing over 8,000 stock items, ensuring smooth operations and coordination with different departments.

Responsibilities

+ Monitor and manage the inventory system (Kanban) for low stock items.

+ Queue and order items through the Kanban system.

+ Coordinate stock replacements efficiently.

+ Collaborate closely with the press brake, welding, and painting teams to move finished materials appropriately within the process.

Essential Skills

+ Data entry

+ Inventory management

+ Experience with Kanban and warehouse inventory systems

+ Forklift operation

+ General labor and material handling

+ Computer skills, including inventory software management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2-4 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year focused on inventory management

+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs

+ Independent and proactive problem solver

+ Proficient in computer operations, especially with inventory software programs like Kanban and knowledge of NetSuite

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with your own workstation. Standard hours are 8am-4:30pm, with occasional early shifts at 7am or Saturday shifts from 6am-10am, occurring seven times a year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
