Job Title: Cogen Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Cogen Operator, where you will play an essential role in maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of our university's heating systems. Your expertise in boiler operations will be crucial in providing a safe and comfortable environment for our university community.

Responsibilities

+ Log readings in a log book accurately and consistently.

+ Inspect worksite for potential problems and address them proactively.

+ Provide excellent customer service while visiting different sites on campus.

+ Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

+ Write detailed documentation related to boiler operations and temperature controls.

+ Monitor and adjust gauges and temperature controls as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in boiler operation and documentation.

+ Customer service skills.

+ Possession of a High-Pressure Red Seal Boiler License.

+ 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with temperature controls and gauge monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
