Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Installer, where you will play a crucial role in installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and more into the back of vacant work vans. This position is based in the 'jig' department and involves using air tools to meet customer specifications. The role requires physical agility, including bending, twisting, and repetitive movements, as you work on the vans. You will be getting in and out of the vans doing the installation every couple of minutes.

Responsibilities

+ Install cabinets, racks, and drawers into work vans according to customer specifications.

+ Utilize air tools for precise installation work.

+ Engage in physical activities such as bending, twisting, and kneeling while working in and out of vans.

+ Ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks as vans move down the assembly line.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly and construction.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a tape measure.

+ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a physically demanding field.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a first shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Employees must be at their stations by 5:55 am and arrive at 5:45 am for their first day's orientation. The role involves being in and out of work vans, requiring comfort with bending, squatting, and using hand tools. The work is repetitive but rewarding, and while the warehouse is climate-controlled, the physical nature of the work ensures a high level of activity. Dress code includes t-shirts, jeans, or work pants, with steel-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
