Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Description

The Shipping Associate will be responsible for wrapping fully assembled outbound equipment with shrink wrap and using a heat gun to ensure a secure hold. This role may require the use of a ladder for wrapping equipment at heights. Additionally, the associate will perform a final quality check to ensure there are no paint scuffs and all stickers and labels are correctly placed. The role involves operating a pallet jack and forklift to move equipment and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

+ Wrap fully assembled outbound equipment with shrink wrap using a heat gun.

+ Perform final quality checks to ensure no paint scuffs and correct placement of stickers and labels.

+ Use a ladder when necessary to reach the top of tall equipment.

+ Operate a pallet jack and forklift to move equipment and receive new inventory.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in material handling.

+ Proficiency in operating a forklift.

+ Basic inventory management skills.

+ Entry-level manufacturing experience or a willingness to learn.

Work in an open bay/warehouse production environment. The facility is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to perform your duties efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
