    First Shift Opportunity

     

    Pay: $18/hr

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Processor - Warehouse Associate, where your primary responsibility will be to process and prepare orders for shipment from our packaging stations. This role is crucial in ensuring that orders are accurately prepared and sent to the correct destinations.

    Responsibilities

    + Process orders from the packaging stations and prepare them for shipment.

    + Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Ship Manager Tools for order processing.

    + Pick orders using hand carts or hand jacks.

    + Operate a cherry picker to pull materials and prepare them for packing.

    + Hand-pick orders on the floor and pack them at the packaging station.

    + Prepare packed orders for shipment by labeling and creating bills of lading.

    + Unload trailers manually and repalletize products at the lower dock.

    + Replenish inventory and stage skills to assist packaging processors.

    + Load and unload trailers using forklifts.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

    + Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager Tools.

    + Order Selection Experience: 1+ year.

    + Packaging and printing out labels experience: 1+ year.

    + Warehouse Experience: 2+ years or relevant.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the shift.

    + Experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, and warehouse inventory management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of SAP system is a plus.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ability and experience operating a forklift.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow paperwork instructions.

    + Ability to speak, read, and write English.

    + Physical capability to sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, pivot, twist, climb, kneel, balance, and lift up to 70 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is a typical warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. The warehouse has racking up to 30 ft high, with multiple loading docks and distinct packing and processing stations. We value a laid-back culture where professionalism is key, especially with frequent visitor and client visits. The dress code requires steel-toed or composite shoes and professional warehouse attire. The team size varies by shift, with 20 people on the first shift and 5 to 10 on the second shift. Shifts run from 7 am to 3:30 pm for the first shift and 3:30 pm to 12 am or 4:30 pm to 1 am for the second shift, with training on the first shift for 3-6 weeks. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute paid lunch break.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
