Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are currently seeking skilled Field and Shop Welders with at least 2 years of experience. As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, laying out, assembling, and welding according to shop drawings and specifications. This role involves working with miscellaneous metals, performing layout, fitting, and welding tasks. Experience with MIG welding is essential, and you should be comfortable welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Knowledge of various tools and equipment, such as ironworkers, saws, plasma tables, and basic tools, is required. You must also be comfortable working at heights, on a scissor lift, and in tight spaces. Reliable transportation is necessary for traveling to and from project sites.
Responsibilities
+ Fabricate, layout, assemble, and weld according to shop drawings and specifications.
+ Perform layout, fitting, and welding of miscellaneous metals.
+ Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
+ Utilize tools and equipment such as ironworker, saw, plasma table, and basic tools.
+ Work at heights, on a scissor lift, and in tight spaces.
+ Assist with installations once projects are welded and fabricated.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
