    Job Title:** **Equipment Maintenance Technician-(** **3rd Shift)

    Job Description

    This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the reliability and performance of manufacturing and infrastructure equipment. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining plant equipment at optimum efficiency, using troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine maintenance and repair on sprockets, pumps, bearings, shafts, chains, conveyors, and belts.

    + Conduct maintenance and repair on Hyperbaric HPP equipment.

    + Maintain and repair steam, pneumatic, water, hydraulic, and other related piping equipment.

    + Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to mechanical and electrical equipment.

    + Perform preventive maintenance and resolve identified issues.

    + Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and confined space entry.

    + Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance database records.

    + Participate in ongoing personal development and stay updated on maintenance techniques.

    + Contribute to safety and housekeeping programs.

    + Perform other duties as directed by supervisory staff.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

    + Experience with maintenance and repair tasks

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

    + Experience in an industrial and regulated environment, particularly food and beverage

    + Strong problem-solving skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a food or beverage regulated environment is ideal.

    Work Environment

    + Work in a cold and refrigerated environment at 40 degrees. Shifts include Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday with hours from 1:00pm-9:30pm or 9:00pm-5:30am.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
