    Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

    Job Description

    As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain by sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships. You will collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure that all components meet our high standards and are delivered on time.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze technical specifications and identify alternative suppliers, collaborating with the engineering team to validate compatibility of alternative components.

    + Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.

    + Handle supplier claims and disputes related to order discrepancies, quality issues, or delays.

    + Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for proper reception and quality control of goods.

    + Work with the warehouse team to verify received products match purchase orders.

    + Resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or agreed terms between accounting and suppliers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in purchasing, purchase orders, and supply chain management.

    + Proficiency in data entry and order entry.

    + Strong administrative support and customer service skills.

    + Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Vocational training or intermediate level studies.

    + Experience gained within bus manufacturers, OEM organizations, or suppliers in the automotive industry is desirable.

    + Experience working with SAP.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
