    Job Title: Assistant Operator - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    In this role, you will assist a machine operator and work in a collaborative team environment. You will be trained to contribute to every step of the converting process with the goal of becoming a lead operator. This is an 8-hour shift where you will remain on your feet in a temperature-controlled environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in machine operation and support the lead operator.

    + Participate actively in the converting process.

    + Inspect and package products efficiently.

    + Operate machines, including rewinds and forklifts.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months of previous manufacturing experience within the last 2 years.

    + Ability to lift 30lbs consistently.

    + Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate through an 8-hour shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage.

    + High School Diploma is preferred but not required.

    + Strong attendance record.

    Work Environment

     

    The workplace is a newer, very clean building equipped with up-to-date machines. Ample space is dedicated to warehousing large rolls of tissue and boxes of finished products. The environment is temperature-controlled for comfort, and while there is some noise, it is manageable. Hearing protection is available but not required. The shift runs from 1 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Friday.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
