• REMOTE: Temporary Litigation Attorney (CA-Barred)

    Description

    Robert Half Legal is excited to partner with a highly respected boutique defense firm in their search for a skilled Temporary Litigation Attorney to assist as they prepare for an upcoming trial set for early March.

     

    This fully remote opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to work on high-profile, complex litigation. The assignment is expected to last 3–4 months, with a commitment of 25–30 hours per week.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide high-level litigation support, including legal research, motion drafting, and trial preparation for a case involving breach of contract and legal malpractice defense.

    + Collaborate closely with the firm’s attorneys in developing and executing case strategy for a major financial institution client.

    + Draft pleadings, deposition summaries, and assist with trial exhibits.

    + Manage and review complex case documentation and discovery materials.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + Active California Bar admission (required).

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in defense-side litigation (preferred).

    + Prior experience working on breach of contract and/or professional malpractice cases is highly desirable.

    + Strong legal research, drafting, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

    Assignment Details:

    + Start date: Immediate

    + Duration: 3–4 months, through early March

    + Hours: 25–30 hours per week
