Description

A well-established property management company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role supports daily accounting operations and property-level financial activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the property management or real estate industry and working knowledge of Yardi software.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process accounts payable and receivable for multiple properties.

+ Code and enter invoices accurately, ensuring proper approvals and allocations.

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

+ Post tenant receipts, security deposits, and rent payments in Yardi.

+ Assist with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close processes.

+ Maintain detailed property files and support audits or reporting requests.

+ Collaborate with property managers and accountants to ensure financial accuracy.

Requirements

+ 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management or real estate.

+ Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or Breeze highly preferred.

+ Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

+ Intermediate Excel skills and attention to detail.
