    MacKay Sposito is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This position plays a vital role in providing first-line technical support to employees across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch user support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This is a full-time position based out of our Vancouver, WA office and this Specialist will be required to travel to branch offices or field sites for about 25% of their time

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the first point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

    + Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

    + Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise tools.

    + Support and maintain VoIP phone systems, printers, and video conferencing equipment.

    + Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk knowledge base.

    + Escalate complex issues to higher-tier IT staff when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up and communication.

    + Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing and configuring equipment for new hires.

    + Maintain an inventory of IT assets and assist with hardware lifecycle management.

    + Provide occasional on-site support at regional offices or project sites as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

    + 1+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.

    + Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.

    + Experience supporting network connectivity, printers, and peripherals.

    + Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certification.

    + Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, or remote management tools.

    + Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

    + Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

    Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

     

    The wage range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/ hour depending on experience.

     

    Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to our company sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays and are able to participate in employee ownership options. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit sharing bonuses.

     

    Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
