    Overview:

    Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year.

     

    We are currently seeking an Assistant Program Director for our Outpatient Services for People with Developmental Disabilities. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for supporting the overall administrative and clinical operations of WJCS’ Outpatient Services for People with Developmental Disabilities Program. This includes services provided across our dually licensed OASAS and OMH CCBHC clinics. This is a full-time, hybrid position with a starting salary range of $89,000 to $110,000 (depending on credentials). Location is flexible and can be at our Hartsdale, Yonkers, or Mt Vernon Clinics.

    Responsibilities:

    As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    + Promote WJCS’ Outpatient Services for People with Developmental Disabilities Program to ensure consistent referrals and full program capacity.

    + Conduct trainings and informational workshops for staff and the community.

    + Respond to and track service inquiries from clients, families, hospitals, providers, and community partners.

    + Monitor and coordinate client admissions and discharges, ensuring program responsiveness, timely program enrollment, and capacity.

    + Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff, including monitoring and managing staff productivity.

    + Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and reporting in compliance with agency and regulatory standards (OMH, OASAS, SAMHSA) and grant deliverables.

    + Manage staff changes, including completion of paperwork to open and close, promote, and fill positions.

    + Hire, train and supervise Clinicians and other team members delivering evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (CCBHC, OMH, OASAS, CMS, SAMHSA).

    + Serve as a liaison with community, government, and social service partners.

    + Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in collaboration with agency staff.

    + Participate in agency and committee meetings.

    + Deliver individual, family, and group therapy services.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

    + Preference for a LCSW or Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited university/college – will consider LMSW eligible to earn LCSW level certification

    + Minimum of three years clinical experience working with a developmentally disabled population and their mental health concerns

    + Minimum of one year’s administrative and/or supervisory experience, including experience with public speaking.
