We have an opportunity for you on our 2ND shift production Lead at JBS Prepared Foods in Council Bluffs, IA.

Wages starting at $22.40 per hour with great benefits!

**- BONUS** pay of $1 for every hour worked for perfect attendance each pay period!

- $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift

- Weekly pay (Every Friday)

Line Lead Job Description:

+ Managing team members and ensure safety and GMP on the line.

+ Meet production target /yield.

+ know how to change film top and bottom and zipper .

+ How to get registration.

+ E.E. have to know how or learn to operate every machine in the room.

+ Multivac pickers buffer conveyor slicer and Peeler .

+ Pack off Osprey Box erector palletizing machine label machine tape machine

+ Weigh packages every half hour to see where we are on the weights or check the metal detectors.

+ E.E. have to know how to fill out the production paperwork for the line and QA

+ E.E. Have to know Change over product on the line or pack off

+ Monitor equipment and maintain it to ensure proper function

+ Monitor production and conduct inspection to identify and correct defects on product package seal and zippers issues

+ Train new team members

+ Maintain accurate production records including down time

+ Good communication and feedback to employee

Key Responsibilities and Accountability include but are not limited to:

+ Manufacture product consistent with product specifications for the assigned work area.

+ Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.

+ Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.

+ Assist with product reconditioning as needed and directed

Work Environment / Physical Demands

+ Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.

+ Standing for extended periods of time

+ Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

+ Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work

+ Ability to work multiple shifts when needed

+ Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

+ Prefer previous manufacturing experience
